UPDATE ON BOXTHORN RESTORATION MEETING

I am a project manager with Harford County DPW Watershed Protection and Restoration Division. I wanted to make you aware of an upcoming public meeting on August 5th regarding the Boxthorn Stream Restoration project, a repair and extension of the old Laurel Valley Stream Restoration project. While this project is not located on Box Hill HOA property, it affects several property owners who are part of the Box Hill HOA. Please distribute accordingly. See the information below.

Harford County Department of Public works (DPW) is continuing the design of the repair and extension of the Boxthorn Stream Restoration Project located between Boxthorn Road and Parallel Path in Abingdon, Maryland. You are receiving this notice because your property is located within the project’s Limit of Disturbance (LOD), or because you have expressed interest in remaining informed about the project status. We are pleased to share that the project design has reached the 60% design milestone.

To present the design and provide an opportunity for questions and feedback, DPW has scheduled a public meeting:
